<aside> 📌 ML for Good is a camp that aims to provide an advanced training in deep learning to those who want to work towards making AI safe and beneficial to humanity.

Held in a large house rented for the occasion, this camp will offer you the opportunity to get up to speed on your own projects, to understand the state of the art in AI safety research, to understand the risks and challenges related to AI development and to meet 20 other people who share your interests and motivations, which may lead to future friendships and collaborations.

We were inspired by the 3-week MLAB bootcamps of Redwood Research, and compressed their technical program to 10 days.

<aside> 🎓 How will the days be spent?

Peer-coding (group coding)
Advanced classes¹ with mentors²
Discussions and talks on AI, the history of its development, its potential damage to society and the solutions tackled in current research
Sessions with experts in beneficial areas of AI³

The current programme should be able to provide you with an extremely solid foundation in deep learning that will allow you to conduct the research projects of your choice.

These meetings will provide opportunities for you to find future internships.

Logistics

<aside> 🏠 How do the logistics work? ****

Participants are expected to cover their own travel costs, though please get in touch with us if this may prevent you from attending the camp.
For the remaining expenses, such as accommodation and meals, a voluntary financial contribution is appreciated, according to your means, to support the camp and its accessibility to all. But regardless, monetary constraints should not hinder your participation.
The camp will last 10 days.**

Being very motivated
